Finally......At this time tomorrow, I will be on my beloved vacation!! I'm sure you're all sick and tired of me talking about it and doing the lame countdown, but I haven't been on a vacation in over 5yrs. With all the unnecessary stress that I'm being put through, I think it'll be good. It will give me a fresh head to think with. There's just been so much going on here. The divorce. The kittens being born (which by the way, they're doing great. They're 14 days old and their eyes opened last weekend). Work. Kids coming and going since school's out. It will be nice to have a little piece and quiet. I'm just not used to all the hussel and bussel of constant busyness. Don't get me wrong. It's nice at times to have the constant busyness, but quiet is nice on an occasion too. I'm just so used to things always being quiet and everyone pretty much keeping to themselves. That's changed a lot though since my ex left. This house of 2 families became 1 family pretty much instantly. If it wasn't for that family downstairs, I don't know where I would be right now, but I'm sure glad I'm where I'm at!!
VACATION IS ABOUT 17 HOURS AWAY!!!On a side note, my little baby turned 3 today. Unfortunately, I don't get to be with her since it's my ex's weekend with the kids. I did call her though at 10:10am so that by the time she got on the phone, it would be 10:12am and I could tell her happy birthday the exact moment she was born 3 years ago. It seems like it wasn't too long ago that she was just an infant that needed me every second of every day. Boy how time flies. She's growing up to be such a beautiful little girl though. I don't know what I'd do without her.HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY MY LITTLE JELLYBEAN!! I LOVE YOU!! XXX-OOO
Why in the world......do people bother with waxing? Oh my goodness!! I just tried to do my legs so I wouldn't have to worry about bringing a razor with me on vacation. OUCH!!! Don't get me wrong. I do my eyebrows, but that doesn't hurt nearly as bad as doing the legs!! Again, I say OUCH!!! Never again do I plan on waxing my legs. The sad part is, I was going to wax my bikini area since I'll be laying by the pool off & on all weekend, but since it hurt so freakin' bad on the legs.......I don't fucking think so!!! I'll stick to the old shaving cream and razor thank you!
Vacation is 2 days away!!
Life sucks......in general. My ex decided yesterday that he was going to try and bribe me to sign my rights away on my kids. This was the conversation.
Him: I have a proposition for you!
Me: (sigh) What now?
Him: I'll give you $300 a month for the next 15yrs if you give me the kids.
Me: WHAT?
Him: Yeah. You'll have no financial burden or any responsibilities to deal with since you don't seem to want them anyways.
Me: You've got to me kidding me. Absolutely not!!
Him: I'll still let you see them when you want. They'll just live with me and I'll give you $300 per month until the youngest is 18yrs old.
Me: I can't believe you. Over my dead body!!
Then I hung up on him. Can you believe that? $300 a month for the next 15yrs just so him and his mom (mainly his mom) can have my kids that I carried for 9 months and have raised for the last 5yrs. Over my dead fucking body. He's got another thing coming if he thinks he can buy me like that.
Vacation is looking better and better every day with all the shit I keep having to deal with, with him. Sometimes I wish he'd just die.
I know a few days ago I blogged about his cousin that got in the really bad car accident. She's doing much better day by day. She's off all tubes. She's still in a slight coma. Her progression continues on the upraise every day. She'll make it through this. I know she will. She's a fighter.
Vacation is only 3 days away!!!
Once again...For the third time since the start of planning on this vacation, I had to change hotels. The first time was because it wasn't a big enough bed. And just a few minutes ago, I changed hotels because it didn't have a pool. I swear the last time I changed the hotels, I booked one with a pool. I guess I was lucky enough to find a hotel for this weekend on such short notice, you know, with the holiday and all.
This weekend was pretty good. Got to spend quality time with my kids. I took them to their first baseball game. That was a disaster. My daughter cried through the whole thing pretty much and my son had ants in his pants for most of the game. It was all good though. I guess if I really think about it, I had a good time, even if I did spend most of the game yelling at them to sit down and shut-up.
I get another fun filled day tomorrow with my ex's lawyer. Wonder how that meetings going to go? You know I'll be back here blogging about it. Hopefully my ex doesn't turn into an ass and bitches about the new arrangement we have for placement/visitation. I think it's working out really well and the kids seem to be adjusting to it. Hopefully he'll continue with his agreement that he made with me and not back down because he lawyer says too.
